Sometimes I just don't know what to drink. I grabbed a sixer of 60 min and a 4-pack of 90 minute. Combined to make a 75 minute. It is delicious. I was glad that one day someone recommended it to me. Take the sweetness of the 90 and mix it will the rawness of the 60 minute and it is delicious.

Funny. DFH did a 75 minute IPA earlier this year. I don't know that it was ever a bottle release. I'm expecting a 105 sometime soon, since they are doing 15 min increments. It'd be cool to see a 120 mixed with a 90 on here, too. Maybe a little help drinking them would be in order.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of this but never tried it. I will pick up one of each this coming weekend and give it a whirl. Doesn't DFH do this in house at their brew pub? I thought I heard something like that but could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteI would like to say that they do it at their Pubs, but I am not sure. It really makes a connection between the two beers.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think I will grab a bottle of the 120 to give a 105 a try.
Cool, let me know how it goes. I would think that would be the trouble as well. a 75 minute IPA would be hopped for 75 min straight, so blending might not quite get you there...but trying is fun enough. I'm sure it cuts the sweetness of the 90 nicely (although I like the sweetness).
